What we do with your data

You sign in with Google or GitHub to run an analysis. Here is exactly what happens to your account and to what you type.

What we do with your task

  1. We remove obvious personal data first. Emails, links, API keys, phone numbers and names you introduce yourself with are replaced before your text goes anywhere. This is a best-effort filter, so please don't paste secrets or confidential details.
  2. An AI service reads your description. The cleaned text is sent to a third-party AI provider (US) to turn it into a short structured summary of your task. It never chooses the recommendation.
  3. We recommend and explain. The result uses only that summary and our own data.

We don't train on your tasks

We don't use what you type to train any model, and we don't sell it. Our AI provider doesn't use data sent to its API to train its models by default, and may keep requests for up to 30 days to detect abuse.

How long we keep it

Sharing

A share link shows a snapshot: task type, a short summary, the best match, its fit score, reasons and alternatives. It never includes your original text unless you tick "Include my original description" after a warning. Links aren't indexed by search engines, and "Stop sharing" makes them stop working immediately.

Your account

We receive your name, email address and profile photo from the sign-in provider, and nothing else. We never post on your behalf and we don't use your email to contact you. There are no passwords. Your account is what ties analyses to you, so only you can open, share or delete them. You can delete your account from the My analyses page, which removes the profile and every analysis, feedback entry and share link you created.

Where it is processed

Our database and application are hosted with cloud providers in the US. Task summarising is done by a third-party AI provider in the US. Sign-in is by Google or GitHub. Optional analytics are hosted in the EU; error monitoring and the bot check are described above. If you are in the UK or EU, this means your data is processed in the US by these providers, under their standard contractual protections.
